Chairman - Jay Hanley

Jay Hanley has been chairman since March 2009 after previously serving several years as secretary of the party. In addition to his duties with the county party, he is a member of the Georgia Republican Party state committee. He works as a production assistant and local government reporter for The Oconee Enterprise newspaper in Watkinsville.
First Vice Chair - Cindy Chapman

Cindy Chapman has served as a vice chair since March 2007. She previously served a term as party secretary. In addition to her duties with the county party, she is corresponding secretary for the Oconee Regional Republican Women. She and her husband, Kent, operate an accounting firm in Watkinsville and have three children: Casey, Caroline and Jake.

Tammy Cotton has been a vice chair since June 2009 after being involved as a party member for several years. She works in accounting and budgeting at the University of Georgia.

Treasurer - Kate McDaniel

Kate McDaniel has served as treasurer of the party since March 2005. She has been an active Republican for many years, is retired from the EPA and active in several community organizations. She and her husband, Mac, have two children: Cindy McDaniel Murphy and Daniel Joshua McDaniel and three grandchildren: Marc Murphy, Lucas Murphy and Max Murphy.
Immediate Past Chair - James Griffith

James Griffith is immediate past party chairman. He served as chairman from 2007-2009 after several years as a vice chair. He works for UGA and married to Michelle, a teacher at Colham Ferry Elementary School.
